internet connection

I have a Belkin Wireless G Desktop Card that i have connected a computer to on a home network - wireless connextion, recently had to reinstall windows using windows xp media centre, yes in know its old but i love it and dont wosh to change yet, before i reinstalled the internet connection use to connect aotomatically when i first started the system now i have to disable and then re- enable can anyone tell me what do i do to get it to connect automatically when i first turn on, it has auto ticked but still not doing it automatically, thanks any help would be appriciated.

Did you install the newest drivers for the card? You may want to delete the wireless settings for that connection and reset it back up.

Also, I've always believed it was a good idea to remove any usb printers and any wireless cards before reinstalling windows. If doing the above doesn't solve the issue, then you may be forced to remove it and then reinstall windows again.

yes drivers installed and it was a complete new reinstall no printers etc, ill see what i ca do thanks again
