Internet Exploer (big problem)

Well, Ive had MANY hard disk problems over the past few years. And basicly. I copied a windows dir from another hard disk, to put on this one. And I cant remember why, but IE wouldnt work. So i downloaded IE 6, and it said i already had it installed. So i downloaded IE 7, and that didnt installed properly. So now, i CANT uninstall any IE, and i cant install any IE (untill the next update).


PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

(plus ive tried the reinstall windows thing on the XP disk and on add removed programs)
 
Hello,

Try CCcleaner, to clean some stuff out,

Then google for "XP TOOLS".. then try the add/remove funcation.. you can even hit "delete function" which will remove it from regkey files, then you can try downloading it again..

Also can you open up My computer and use that as a Internet? you just type and hit enter where the My Computer words are :)
 
WIll try straight away. I use opera anyway. Its just for my programming I use an Internet Explorer ocx(active X) and it wont work if i dont have IE.
