I've recently been finding (although I don't know what triggered it) that whenever a new IE window is opened, whether from clicking a link or manually opening a new window, the whole program freezes for about 5 seconds, then kicks back into action. Normal browsing is fine, it's just when a new window is opened.
I was on IE6, I downloaded and installed IE7 Beta 3 just in case it was a problem with that, but I'm noticing the same problem, even with the tab browsing.
Has anyone come across this? I am guessing it may be to do with my broadband connection, since it doesn't seem to be browser-specific, I'm using a wireless broadband router, which has been working flawlessly a while before this problem appeared.
Anyone got any ideas?
