Internet Explorer 8 Issues

HELP!!!
So today, i'm at my aunts house, and she wasnt running the newst IE, so i decided to install it. however, now whenever we try to open the browser, the window opens, and then closes. can anybody help me???
 
oh yea, i forgot to mention, that IE runs fine when i run it w/o add-ons, but if i try to open it normally, it just opens the window, starts to load but then closes, so i think it might be some sorta add-on...
 
Do your Aunt a favour and uninstall the crap,loads of trouble with it.I installed it and it mucked up my games and it took to much of my screen,dont know why but after i uninstalled it everything went back to normal,I dont know if anybody else has had the same problems.
 
yea but it wont let me, i went onto remove programs and i clicked on internet explorer and it doesnt give an option to remove it
 
Typically what happens is when the system has issues big upgrades like IE don't install properly. IE8 is perfectly fine and works great for 99% of people. I advise you to fix the issues with the PC and then do the IE8 isntall again. It will likely work fine after fixing the issues with your OS first.
