I recently installed Windows Xp Home edition onto my network computer in my shop to replace the Windows 98se. After installation, the only current way that I can access the internet is to click on Start and locate Internet Explorer in the table of contents. I would like to create an Icon on my desktop to access the internet. How can I create this shortcut?

Right click on an open area of your desktop and click on properties, click on the destop tab, click on customize desktop and then put a check next to Internet Explorer and any other icons you want to be shown on your desktop. Click ok or apply and they should now be on your desktop.
