Im on the internet just surfing, and I click a link and then that page comes up that says that cant find the requested page. It seems like my computer just disconnects me from the internet. In the bottom right toolbar I put my mouse over my "connection" icon and it says "limited or no connectivity." I have a cable modem and a router which has a line connecting another computer to the internet. The router is a Linskys and my computer is a HP and both were bought brand new and they aren't even more than a year old. The only way I found to fix this problem is to turn off the computer. Unhook the power cords from the cable modem and the router. Then reconnect power to the cable modem, then the router (waiting for the yellow light to come on), then turn my computer back on. Could it be my router? My computer? Anyone kno what the hell this could be?
BTW: This happens completely randomly, sometimes the net will shut off after 8 hrs, 2 hrs, 30 min.
