Internet keeps exiting!

I have a very frustrating problem. Believe me, I've searched the net before coming here, and can't find anything. Here's my problem. I have Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox both on my computer. I used Mozilla Firefox more often while searching the net because I was told to. Well, when checking my email I have to use Internet Explorer, and when viewing certain pages I have to use internet explorer sometimes also. But lately it just plain exits on me. I'm at a page and it just closes. It shouldn't do that unless I click the little x, but I'm not! anyone know why it would do this? If anyone would have a clue it would be very much appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Are you experienceing any other oddities with your computer? Freezing or anythign like that happen sometimes?

When i am overclocking or my system is jsut unstable, i will start to surf the web and the webpage will just close on me like you are describing. This might be a RAM error.

It could also be malware, spyware, virus, trojan, etc. that is closing your background apps. What kind of antivirus software do you run? Run a scan or 2 and see if you catch anything.
 
actually I use an online version of panda? I'm sure you've heard of it. there were like 8 infected files. they were spyware... I tried to delete them manually a couple just don't want to delete... maybe that could be it... I'm not sure
 
you should have some sort of antivirus software on your computer (the web stuff is not good enough) and you should run it. I'm shure you'll find all kinds of goodies!
lots a' spyware and junk.
did i say you need at the least 2 anti spyware apps.
i'd say:
-Spybot
-Ad-Aware
 
Yes I use adaware and spybot already... I just don't know which antivirus to use. I had Norton and I really didn't like it.
 
download ad-aware SE (current version is 1.06), install it, update it, run a full system scan, reboot, run it again. Then see if the problem remains. :)

Edit: oopps posted at the same time. can you run a hijackthis scan and post the results?
