internet problems

hi hope this is the right forum to post this in sorry if it isnt.

Got a new router recently (netgear dg834g v5) because my old one (linksys wag200g) kept cutting out.

its been fine since i bought it about a month ago except earlier today all i got when i clicked on websites was this

it came back on after about 20 mins but then 2 hours later it happened again. this time it wasnt coming back on after about half an hour. so just out of curiosity i tried my old linksys router and it worked, everything loads fine.

anyon know whats going on

From the looks of it your internet service provider is having some sort of internal issue. Meaning for some reason they can't provide you with a stable internet connection. Either way i'd call them up and ask about it and see what they say. Are you still having the issue? Sometimes they fix stuff up after a couple days of issues or outages.

I to have been and still am fighting the same issue. The phone company had to re-config their equipment, then they messed around with some settings on my computer so it would match the settings on the router and modem.
