internet problems

can connect to aim/limewire... but when trying to get on any webpage whatsoever i get page cannot be displayed. bottom left says connecting to 127.0.0.1. ideas? already checked windows firewall. (via internet explorer)

Have you tried another browser? It might be something is wrong with IE, another thing to check is all your settings in IE such as security and content and make sure cookies are enabled and things like that!

you should post that in the isp section because the guys who peruse that section will have all you need to know

Sounds like a hijacker. Moved to security section. Buzz and byteman will be able to help you more just read the stickies there first.
