Internet search quirk

I don't know the proper terms to use, but recently when I do a search and then click on the "web results" , then come back to click the next item the ones I have looked at do not change color or dim, nothing to indicate that I have already viewed them.

Say, I searched " books" clicked on the first item ( Barnes & Noble) then went to "Abes books" the next listing, none of them show that they have already been viewed no matter how many I click on. It is rather annoying when you are doing a search for many listings.

Can anyone tell me how to make it indicate the items I have already viewed?

May not be a good discription, but I don't really know how to say this.

Thanks,

Kevin

I posted this in "Other Topics" with no results so am trying here.

Solution I think: I have been using the TDS.net home page which is powered by Google and having the above described problems. I noticed I was loosing my back button (greyed out) also.
I went to MSN home page and had no problems. Then went to the official Google home page and again no problems. So must be a bug in TDS/Google software.
So all I have to do is use Msn or Official Google home page ( those were the only two I tried) and problem solved.
Thanks to anyone who pondered by question.
