Hi

I have just upgraded my connection from 2000 somethings to 3000 somethings (i dont know what it is) i can notice it is way faster especially when downloading. I did a few speed tests and im getting totally different results. Can anyone explain let me know what all this is about.

does it matter where the closest server is....as that sitehas US only...i am in germany.....i still did it but it said 80kb/sec
 
Yes it does matter where the server is because the farther away the server is the longer it takes to reach it, but I don't think it will make a HUGE difference.
