Interwebs and networking!

Alright, I have two computers, rig A which has a wireless card and gets its internet that way. I am trying to connect rig B to get synergy2 working. I have a crossover cable, and whenever I enable the wired network, synergy2 works perfect between A and B. But A loses its internet connection. How can I get A to continue to use internet through wireless and have synergy2 working through a wired network?

Both rigs are running windows xp.

well, one way to set it up would be on the pc with the wireless card to enable internet connection shareing. Then set that computer to a static ip, make sure it's different that the ip of the other network adapter. Same subnet though. Then on computer b set it to a static ip and tell it to look at the ip of the wired network adapter in computer a that you already set static as default gateway and primary dns. That should fix you up. If i left anything out please someone correct me.

Thanks, a combination of that and setting the metric of the wired card in pc A to be second, and the wireless card first. Got internet on the rig B, which I never needed but is a plus as now its not only synergy2 but also maxivista and a folding@home machine.

Thanks again :).
