Invalid partition table

hey
i just got rid of my linspire partition and when i rebooted the comp to use xp i get a invaild partition table error.
what should i do...
i tried running the xp cd and went into the reocvery console and did a fixmbr...
it wrote a new mbr but i cant boot from xp...
is there anythign i can do...
also i google'ed around can couldnt find a real fix..
i searched the forums and couldnt find anything

fixed it!!

i took the hdd out of my comp...
put it in a comp with partiton magic and partition magic fixed the partition table....
the only thing is that i lost my back-up partition of some reason.....
but my xp partition is intact and working great!!...
