well, heres the run down

just bought a 320gb western d SATA drive.. thats all cool got that baby runnin so i transfered my old 300gb of info onto the new sata drive. deleted all my old scatted partitions re-isntalled windows and installed service pack 2

now i have my sata information again.

ok so i set up partitions using windows cd. on my old harddrives

Maxtor (120gb - 2 partitons 1 windows (10gb) 1 other (110gb))
WDigital (120gb - 1 partiton 1 other (120gb)
WDigital (320gb - 1 partition 1 storage (320gb)

now my 4th harddrive.. i have another Maxtor 190gb drive.. i have created a partition on the rest like normal and i did it on this one aswell

when i booted up windows.. only my 320gb SATA was found. and my windows partiton

i ran Paragon Partition Manager and re did the windows thing.. i got my 120g western digital and my 2nd partition on the maxtor.. so i got them to show

but no matter what i try windows wont detect the 190gb drive but in BIO's it shows up and also in the Partition Manager. so im confused

i have ran the Maxtor and Western Digital Installation Software.. and the Maxtor software didnt detect it either.. i cleared my CMOS in hopes it would work.. but to no avail.

this is my system specs
1gb Generic Ram
AMD 64+ 3200
GeForce 6600GT PCIe 128mb
1x 120gb maxtor hd (ide)
1x 120gb wdigital hd (ide)
1x 190gb maxtor hd (ide)
1x 320gb wdigital hd (sata)
DVD Dual Layer Burner Sony
uGuru AN8 "Fatal1ty" Motherboard
430w Thermaltake Powersupply

i hope you can help.

Perhaps you need to upgrade? Isn't it like SP1 that allows for 120G? I don't know what the limit is above that, if there's one.

How's it show up in the bios? You know you don't put the partitions in the bios, right? ^^;

i stated in my post that it has Service Pack 2 installed
western digital software also changed my registry to detect gb larger than 137gb

.. i said bio detects them. i was checking to make sure they were plugged in. my bios detects them fully as here capable size.

also all my harddrives worked before the format..
im going to a big 300 person lanfest on the weekend i would like this resolved before then.

I would look over Maxtor's support site for troubleshooting. Unlike Western Digital and Seagate drives Maxtor has it's own unique problems with being detected even with SATA drivers inplace.
