invisible mouse??

for some reason now, when i play need for speed and i alt tab back to my desktop, my mouse cursor is invisible, i can still use it.... its just.......invisible. this happened b4 i reformatted my computer too. i just reformatted today and i thought that problem would be gone, guess i was wrong. anyone kno how i can fix this?

When I exit games like Serious Sam, Blade Runner, Tropico, and Max Payne I lose my cursor too when I get the desktop back. I just right-click the desktop once and my cursor comes back immediately. This has happened on two different installs of XP on my PC.

hmm alright ill give that a try next time, anyone else have any solutions? please post if u do.
