noob-ish question: how can i look up my computer's IP address?

I think internal is on your computer(local network) and external is remote(wan address) dont really understand though. You're probably looking for external.

Theres heaps of sites that can show you external. But if you need internal just go to cmd and type in the command that was given above

I'm pretty sure he needs external and this probably solved his problem...If he read this anyway.
