I searched google and this forum for a topic similar to this, but came up blank.

I have a windows pc and I am sharing an internet connection through it to my laptop and I keep getting these annoying popups from a whole range of ips and I was wondering if their is a way to block a large range of ips, so they would screw off. I have tried spyware removers and everything else. Please help.

By the way my computer that is sharing the connection doesn't have the prob.
 
try putting up a firewall, other than windows firewall, maybe zone alarm, and when you get the pop up, click continually block content. if its not happening on the other machine, you may have malware problems.
 
I tried zone alarm, it slowed down my laptop when I was trying to run my dedicated server off of it.

I just need something to block a range of ips so that I don't have to worry bout excesse prgrams on my laptop.
