The camera adds functionality, but its not a good camera, I have an iPad 2, had an iPad 1 as well. Speed is nice, much snappier then the iPad 1. Screen is the same, I cant tell a difference between the to. The size is nice, feels better in the hands, at least in mine.
Its a solid device, great apps and much more then just a big iPhone. The apps developed for the iPad make it a great substitute for most peoples portable needs. I can run keynote (apples powerpoint) Pages (apples word) and Numbers (apples excel), and not just dummied down versions of them, they are pretty powerful. Editing movies on it is great, and almost identical to the desktop version in OS X. Garage band is a great app, lots of fun and pretty impressive with what you can do musically with it.
There is no flash on the iPad exactly, there is a browser (pretty crummy browser, but it works) that does flash, not sure how they do it, but it works on any flash site I have tried it on. The app is called iSwifter, and its free. Again, not a great browser, but it does work. I can count the number of flash sites I have come across on 1 hand, but everyones web usage is different, mine are mainly forums, so mileage may vary.
