hey im looking into ipads, ipad 2 is about 150 more than the ipad 1, is there any really good differences that would make me spend that little bit extra?

Not much is known about the capabilities of these cameras quite yet, but the front camera being a VGA webcam and the back being capable of recording video at 720p is definitely a step up from having no cameras at all

I'm assuming it's the same as the ipod Touch, so VGA front and .9 mega pixel back, in other words, the same resolution it records video at.

might not be same as ipad will have flash light while ipod touch doesn't, also the camera quality will have to be better, the ipod touch is not really that great even in 720hd. but honestly if you buy it for camera or even use it it's not worth the use specially in ipad if the camera/face camera that bad of quality.

It's certainly an expensive purchase dingo i went with a mate to the apple store and after we got a cover and all the protective stuff a sim card so you can go online at any time it came to $950 bit ridiculous if you ask me but my mate seems to like it.

It's $399, but you get more bang for your buck with the new ASUS Eee Pad Transformer running Android 3.0. The iPad is basically just a giant iPod.

The ipad 2 does NOT have a flash. Its also been confirmed it is the same .9 MP camera

The camera adds functionality, but its not a good camera, I have an iPad 2, had an iPad 1 as well. Speed is nice, much snappier then the iPad 1. Screen is the same, I cant tell a difference between the to. The size is nice, feels better in the hands, at least in mine.

Its a solid device, great apps and much more then just a big iPhone. The apps developed for the iPad make it a great substitute for most peoples portable needs. I can run keynote (apples powerpoint) Pages (apples word) and Numbers (apples excel), and not just dummied down versions of them, they are pretty powerful. Editing movies on it is great, and almost identical to the desktop version in OS X. Garage band is a great app, lots of fun and pretty impressive with what you can do musically with it.

There is no flash on the iPad exactly, there is a browser (pretty crummy browser, but it works) that does flash, not sure how they do it, but it works on any flash site I have tried it on. The app is called iSwifter, and its free. Again, not a great browser, but it does work. I can count the number of flash sites I have come across on 1 hand, but everyones web usage is different, mine are mainly forums, so mileage may vary.
