iPhone battery issues

has anyone heard of the lifeproof fre power case causing the iPhone battery to go bad. Mine went bad and I was told that my case was the cause of it because it was "plugged in" all the time.

Ive never once heard of battery cases making batteries go bad, unless you make a user error like you could with a normal charger. Like leaving it charge after its full, even then ive only seen it once. Pretty sure apple told you that to cover their butts, or it was user error

As said. Any rechargeable battery. Run it down to zero volts or overcharge will
rack a battery and destroy it.
