Iphone SE 2020 Water Resistance

Accordantly to Apple’s website, the Iphone SE 2nd generation smartphone is capable of being submerged to a depth of 1 meter up to 30 minutes. Would that mean if I got caught outside during a downpour my phone would be, ok?
 
Probably fine.

I've washed my Samsung S20 FE off in the sink more than once and it was fine. Same water rating I think .
 
It should be alright.

My iPhone XR has the same IP67 rating, I've washed it in the sink and taken underwater pool videos, I wouldn't worry about rain. There's some youtube videos comparing submersion for time and depth, they generally seem to last up through 20-30 minutes or so.
