I have a problem with my music for my Ipod. I bought some songs on my computer and some other songs on my family computer. My family computer is registered with my ipod and purchased music. I want to take the songs off my family computer and put them onto mine as well as registering my ipod on mine. How do I do this? How do I un register and re-register everything?
EDIT:: when I burned my purchased music and put it on my computer it wont play, just skips down till it finds a song thats not from the cd.

Audio? How do I do that? Alright now that leaves how do I get my ipod to get songs from my computer and not the family computer?

OK, first enable disk usage on your iPod so you can open it up in My Computer, then on the computer you wish to transfer songs to enable viewing of hidden files and folders, Connect the iPod to the computer you wish to transfer your songs to and open up your iPod in My Computer, open iPod_Control, open Music, now do a search for files and folders(NOTE: you must do a search for hidden files and folders) and then arrange by type this will isolate your music, now select your music, drag and drop your songs to the iTunes library, your computer may seam like it is frozen but it is not, depending on how many songs you have this may last for a wile, after it has finished consolidate the iTunes library this will copy all the songs to your hard drive, now if you want to play music that you downloaded from iTunes on the computer you just put the songs on you can authorize up to five computers at one time to play you copy protected music you can simply authorize the computer :)

PS: You can tell I’ve done this before. lol

Wheres the enable hidden stuff? Also When I try to get the songs of my computer it deletes all the ones off the ipod already and the same happens when I do it on the family computer. Wierd

OK, disk usage means you can open it in My Computer just like you would a hard drive or CD ROM..... and save you can save files to it and use it like a portable hard drive, to enable disk usage on your iPod, open iTunes, connect your iPod to the computer, in iTunes do the following: click on Edit, click preferences, click the iPod tab, then check the box enable disk usage. :)

O and if you want to update your iPod (and new music\play lists ect..) on your computer instead of the family computer, open iTunes and connect your iPod and it should say "The iPod "iPod Name" is linked to another iTunes music library. Do you want to change the link to this iTunes music library and replace all existing songs and play lists on this iPod with the ones from this iTunes library?”

No, I still have one more thing. On the family computer theres songs I bought from itunes. When I put them on my computer it wont play them or anything else. How do I fix that?

If you want to play write protected music from iTunes store you must authorize your computer to do so, to authorize your computer do as follows: open iTunes, click on advanced, then click authorize this computer.
