IRQL error related to overclocking?

Alright, so I tried to push my overclock to 2.8 ghz (400 x7) and when I booted and surfed the web a bit, I got an IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL bsod. It rebooted, and I put the bios back to 2.66 ghz, which has been stable through hours of gaming. The memory clock was up to 920 from 800, so I was wondering, is this a bsod related to OC'ing, or is it solely bad memory?

Well It have to be related to OC'ing either way.. I've gotten it before when overclocking. Pushing the memory too hard more than likely.

i think that could be of either: bad drivers, a mounting program, or overheat(????) Make sure u dont use a mounting program and then see if windows BSoD's. It could be, rarely, a heat problem. check ur temps dude
