Irremovable spots on screen retina macbook 15''

Hi there,

A couple of days ago I noticed a splash-like blotch on the screen of my laptop. I have since tried almost everything suggested online to remove said spots (microfiber cloth wiping, water, alcohol, vinegar solution, special screen cleaning solution), but they do not appear to go away or diminish in size.

I can feel a slight change in texture sliding over each spot with my fingernail, but cant tell whether its some sort of coating that has come off, or whether its something physically on the screen. I was wondering if anyone could help me identify what's on my screen and recommend how i can potentially remove it.

I have attached links to pictures of what i'm talking about (apologies for the quality). On close inspection it seems that there is a tiny white spot in the center of each splash mark. I do not recall having splashed anything on my screen, and have no idea what it could have been.
I look forward to hearing your input and suggestions :good:
Thanks in advance,
Flyz

Hi,
embedding the images doesn't seem to work (or im doing something wrong). I've posted tinypic links in an edit.

It looks like some crap. Use a micro-fiber cloth and a mixture of 50/50 isopropyl alcohol and distilled water.
