Irritating little problems

I ordered a pc from ibuypower (i don't recommend it)

So any way ive found a ton of tiny things wrong with the pc.
1.Raid was not set up (data mirroring)
2.The logisys fan speed controls and gauges are not set up (they are rubber banded neatly in a ball )

Ive been rendering in premiere pro/ AFter Effects and things are getting real slow i was thinking of upgrading the CPU GPU and adding 2 gigs of ram. For the cpu upgrade i was looking at the core 2 extreme but im not sure if my mother board is compatible (it has a 775 socket thou). For the GPU i was looking at the new GeForce 8800GTXs (if i have enough i may buy 2 and run them in sli)

What do you guys think?

System Specs:

CPU:Pentium D 3.60 GHz (dual Core)
HD: 2 300 gig SATA @ 7200 RPM
Mobo:Elite Groupe C19-A
Memory:2 gigs
GPU:MSI NX6200TC-TD Series (256 mb version)
OTHER: 550w power supply, liquid cooled CPU

I know, the gpu is for gaming = )

I know I'm working with HD footage but my computer shouldn't take 115 mins to render 183 frames.

What should i do in terms of the cpu temperature gauges?

Your motherboard does not support Core 2 Duo processors. You'll need to upgrade it if you want to use one.

EDIT: Looks like you're having other problems then. What are your temperatures?
