Ya know, Froogle is the best way to find Great prices. (ex: Nike 360-in store price-$160, on Froogle-$50 New) That is a real result, and though it has nothing to do with computers, it's of showing how good it is. Its is a beta from Google. try it out, it might help.

Didn't THG do an article on getting the 805 to 4ghz on standard watercooling, and getting it into the 3.2-3.5Ghz range with the Zalman 92mm cooler?

Yes, the 805 can be overclocked to 3.8 with the Zalman and 4.1 with watercooling.

About 3 or 4 months ago that was about $145 there. But the idea was pricing a dual cored Intel cpu. Intel Pentium D 805 Dual Core 2.66GHz 533MHz 2x1MB LGA775
You would have to compare the AMD64 3800+ X2 or higher model for performance evaluation as well as the big price gap.
