is 2 gigs enough

should i get 2 or 4 gigs for my new comp any ideas i will be using it for games music movies, and some overclocking sry i put it in the wrong forum wasnt paying attention

2GB is good 4GB is better

but remember the limitations of ram if you dont go with 64-bit

because its cheaper than 4 and if you put 4 in a machine which runs a 32 bit windows OS, it will generally only use 3.2gb of it, so you are wasting your money to buy 4gb.

yup. No game on the market atm can use over 2gb just for itself anyway, which is why 3gb is the perfect amount.

not a huge amount, but as i said, 4gb is kinda pointless , its kinda worth it if you have a 64 bit OS, but then you get the compatibility issues (although vista premium 64 is far far better than XP 64)
