i have a pentium 4 and the last time I needed to set up something on the BIOS and I saw that the temperature of my cpu was between 47 c and 49 c and so I wonder if this is normal or maybe it is too high.
thank you

woooah, idle or under load? im guessing idle... well yes thats high. : bad air flow, bad stock HSF, no thermal paste , not enough case fans

it's not to high, I believe with P4's if it gets to hot, it will turn its speed down as too not damage the CPU

Thats not that high for a Pentium 4, those run hot, especially the Prescotts. It's a tad high but nothing to worry about, but if it gets above 60C load, then I would look into some better cooling.

lol compared to mine, that is not very hot. my E6600 was running at idle around 57*C i think, until i underclocked it from my overclock of 3.3 to 3.0ghz. im waiting for my new cooling equipment to arrive so i can overclock this shit outta my CPU
