is a tr2-430w enough for a x1950 xt?

the title says it all i wonder if my psu is enough the psu spec says 18a on a single 12v ....i have 30 amps total is that enough? i presently run a x1600 and its rtuns sweet thanks for your imputs in advance
 
will this one be ok then? Thermaltake Purepower 500 Watts (W0100RU)

i already have the card and am waiting to install it to be sure i dont frie it :(
 
You wouldn't fry anything. It just wouldn't boot or it would be unstable and restart. I haven't checked the PSU requirements for that card but it wouldn't hurt to put it in and try it. :D
 
Ok Power requirements are: 450w, 30amps +12v rail. If you are saying you have dual +12volt rails adding up to 30a then you could run this card. You might be cutting it alittle close though so those recommendations made by Chupacabra wouldn't be a bad idea.
