I want to connect my 64bit system to my wireless network without using drivers. Will anything called a wireless access point do the job? Or am I looking for a bridge?

A wireless access point is a device that creates a wireless network, a wireless bridge is a device that allows you to connect to an existing wireless network. It will not create it's own wireless network. What do you mean by not using drivers? You don't want to get the drivers for your wireless card or do you not want to buy a wireless card or what?
