Hello Everyone,
I'm new to the whole building your own computer scene, and i understand very little of what I am actually doing. I wanted to build my own computer because I believe that this custom built machines are cheaper and more powerful.

If you guys could tell me if these parts are compatible with each other, that would be fantastic.

CPU:
Intel Core I7- 2600k 3.4 GHz

GPU:
GeForce GTX 570 1GB GDDR5

Mobo:
Asus P8Z68 Deluxe LGA 1155 Z68 chipset

Memory:
Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3 dual channel@ 1600

Power Supply:
Corsair Enthusiast series 850W 80 bronze rating

Hard Drive:
Crucial 64GB SSD
Western Digital 1TB 7,200 RPM SATA III 32 MB cache

Case:
Azza Solano 1000 CSAZ Full Tower

Optical Drive:
Liteon 24X DVD-RW SATA Optical Drive

OS:
Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit

I plan on mainly using this set up for gaming, and some work, but hopefully not much :)

Please let me know your thoughts! Thanks!

for gaming a 2500k is just as powerful, asus mobos are having issues lately with customer support and sometimes quality too, gigabyte is better at this point. for gaming 8gb's won't even be used for the ram, and unless running 2 570's then 850 is pointless, and it's overkill there too, but it would be fine if running 2 7970's which come out on the 9th and are pure beast, although each costs 550, but one will max out everything for a good while.

Ok, I was thinking that I may upgrade to two 570 in the future, I just can't afford two right now. I wish I could afford the 7970s but maybe next year. Thanks!
What would you suggest instead of the asus mobo?

also idk much about that case and unless you have a reason these are better known cases that have excellent cable management so wires aren't hanging around in the case blocking airflow, and to me they look nicer too, and there are some even better ones for a few more bucks but wanted to stick around where that was
