Is this all compatible and am I missing anything to check for compatibility?
I'm fairly certain everything is compatible except I don't know if my hard drive is compatible with everything.

Thanks for any help.

I updated the links to working links. This is the last thread I will make on the subject.

Does this look like a good setup and am I missing anything?

The motherboard link is working the other 3 just come up blank page for me.

Just write what parts you are looking at siickx and people can google the product.

Must be a problem with chrome switched to explorer and links are working now, everything you have listed is compatible and good components.

Any sata hard drive will work, but you will need a sata III drive to get the full performance your new board is capable of.

What model of power supply do you have ?

HEC-580-TD-TF

You said that you would purchase a new one, but I do trust the one I have to stand up, as long at 575 w is enough for all of those componenets.

Also this performance that you're talking about, will it affect gaming performance? or just browsing performance.

The drive you have is sata II 3gbps, the new board has connections for sata III 6gbps

You would notice the performance difference across the system in general from boot up and shut down times, gaming, watching video etc

Ok, well I might be getting the intel I5 4670k, so if that's the case then i won't have the extra budget to buy a new HDD.

When I get this stuff during the holiday season I'll have to make a thread on how to put it all together, as I don't know which order to install the components and how to.

Thanks again for your help James :good:

Look on youtube, google, or basically anywhere online and you'll find some in depth how to guides. But, nearly everyone applies thermal paste differently and even mentioning thermal paste application can cause heated debates.

I'll just say, I apply it! :D
