Is Android Tablet safe on Home network after public WiFi?

I was in Colorado for a week and I forgot my laptop so I bought a cheap tablet to get on the internet. I used it on three different free WiFi connections including 2 in Las Vegas. Now that I’m at home I’m afraid to use it on my home network. This is the first Android that I’ve ever used and I do not know what to expect as far as malware on them.

You are fine. Malware is not attracted to them like windows systems. I've never seen an infected tablet yet.

Thanks John, I wasn’t sure if I needed Antivirus with these or not and then I saw an Antivirus app in the apps store.

Anyway that’s a relief because I had no protection in those cheap one night motels.
