Is Arctic Silver 5 really that good?

I have a Socket A CPU (brand new) And I herd that since the thermal compund is 99.9% silver that it could short circit my CPU. Is this true? I already did aply some of this stuff to my GPU. I how this stuff is good, because it expencive!!!

No, it isn't true. It will not short circuit if you do it properly.
