The GTX280x2 might be better but it would cost a lot. Currently you can get a 4870x2 for $600. A GTX280 still costs around $450-$500, and that's for a single GPU. NVidia would probably have the better card, but it would cost a fortune. If you want the best card go with NVidia, if you want the best card for the money, go with ATI. Haha
