I'm really nervous about building my own desktop PC.
I've never done it before, and I have a few questions before I decide whether or not to do it myself.
Do I need any cables to connect anything?
Or does everything just plug into place? I'm sure I need SATA 2 cables because I bought hard drives and no cables were included...how would I connect them to the motherboard and power supply unit?
Do I need thermal paste? And what cooling parts do I need? I have no idea what case I should buy, how many fans, what kind of fans, what kind of heatsink, etc I should get. The processor I'm looking at doesn't come with a heatsink or fan off of NewEgg.
Eh please help, I'm not sure what I should do. It'd be like $100 cheaper I think to build my own than to get it built for me.
