This doesn't sound right to me, maybe I am missing something?

Your returned item was received, tested, and determined to be in working order. After researching your motherboard I found that it only accepts low density modules (64x8). The module you ordered is high density (dual in line 128x4). You can either upgrade to a compatible low density module for an additional $50 US Dollars which includes shipping, or receive a refund for your returned item. Use the paypal link below to pay, fill in $50 US Dollars, and Low Density 1GB Upgrade under description also add the make and model of your motherboard in the description.
 
Do you know the specific Triton K8 motherboard that you have because I would research it and see what the manufacturer specifications state. That way you'll know whether or not you are being BSed.
