Is intel really 64 bit?

Dziękują Hadogenes. mam rodzina w południowo-wschodniej Polsce. JA było tam ostatnio (ostatni; trwać) lato wizyta rodzina (rodzinny). Najwięcej (najbardziej) piękny kraj. Dziękują za zrozumienie mojej próby mówić Język polski (polski; blask). Moi przyjaciele są cały bardzo dobry przy tym one pomagają mnie.
 
lol yes. why would you think it wasn't? intel supported 64-bit since the first pentium 4 6xx series single core processors man.
 
Wasnt the N64 actually a 64-bit processor and thats what gave it its name?

And correct me if im wrong, but didnt AMD basically steal the whole 64-bit thing from Intel many many years ago when designing THEIR 64 Athlons? At least thats what i heard.....something along those lines....

What you are seeing is support for 64bit addressing and an onboard memory controller when you see cpus with the 64 label. AMD didn't have to steal anything.

There have been a limited number of true 64bit cpu for servers and workstations designed for IBM, SUN Microsystems, and HP over the years. Even some old 16bit cpu saw internal support for 32bit instructions. The AMD64 or Intel64 designation simply shows it supports a 64bit OS while still being a 32bit cpu.
