I'm building a new set up and would primarily like to run video editing software on it (AVID HD) but would also like to run decent games aswell. This is what i've opted for:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 (2.13Ghz)
Gainward 7900GS 256mb DDR3
2x Kingsmax 1GB PC2 6400 memory
320GB Western Digital HD
Is this good enough? I've recently checked out the AVID website and they recommend using a Quadro 550(minimum) GFX card, but these seem to be quite expensive, whats so special about them and will my 7900GS be okay?
