Vista drivers are [relatively] crap.I can think of is because the Vista SLI drivers arent really that stable and arent optimized as well as XP's drivers are.

unless there is some ridiculous bottle neck somewhere causing the hiccup, which happens when using performance parts with bad or wrong motherboard settings and such.
