Is it normal for my system to score 14k? on 3dmark 06 @@;;;

I finally got the right power supply and stuff, but i was told it should score higher , somewhere arouund 17k

my rig is in my sig
 
unless there is some ridiculous bottle neck somewhere causing the hiccup, which happens when using performance parts with bad or wrong motherboard settings and such.
 
The scores are consistent with what you should be getting in 06. For 17K you're thinking 05 :)
 
LOL it wont matter, 3dmark is too synthetic anyways (but not synthetic enough like Sandra to be useful) which semi defeats the point of it lol.
 
As i've told him before, that score is a bit low for a quad-core and dual 8800GTX's. From the scores you showed me, it was a problem with the video card since the CPU score was excellent.

I forget if you told me, but did you run this in Windows XP or in Windows Vista? If it was in Vista, the only thing I can think of is because the Vista SLI drivers arent really that stable and arent optimized as well as XP's drivers are.

Vista drivers are [relatively] crap.

As for the scores, they are a bit on the low side but not excessively low.

i am not using vista, vista is not ready specialy drivers wise

that test was on 06 3dmark using XP PRO... i have no clue what is wrong, im going to re downloading the video card drivers and see what is up.
