just wondering if it's possible to run a windows pc on a linux NetWork or not my friend says it's not possible to run a windows PC on a linux network so I am curious if hes right or I am right and hes wrong and you can run a windows PC on a linux network so is it possible?

You mean get to a winodws pc from a linux network? Like file sharing or something like that?

Yes it is possible. You will need to download clients so that the linux and the windows computers can talk to each other.

I was thinking about running simply mephis linux on my amd Turion laptop since windows is being so gay as slow at starting up and getting going it takes my system like 4 minutes at least to finsh booting up with factory install settings I run at like 45 processes then with my workload of software windows XP Pro is running at this current moment 60 active processes I figure that Linux will run less processes then windows and there for run faster on my hardware it would be networking to an old pentium 2 450 windows 98 systemI know that I can do it

Just disable some of those processes using msconfig
