hey everyone i have a question i hope someone can help me i have a home theater with a sub woofer and alot of speakers i was wondering if it is possible to use these speakers and sub woofer not just for my tv but for my computer as well? is there some kind of wire i can buy to run from the receiver to my computer thank you

Your computer should a have a sound card for best performance, otherwise you can use the onboard sound. Just run the output jack from your card to the reciever, you may need to get special cables from radio shack or the likes, something like a y adapter cable connected to an analog audio cable, or if you have the option, use a digital optical/coax cable.

you all are great i took a reg red and white on one end and a head phone jack on the other end and works great thank you

I miss the days when I could do that :(

But, my old Altec Lansing's still pump some decent sound!

Depending on your mobo, you might have digital audio out even from onboard sound.

My Gigabyte has a coaxial and optical (fiberoptic) out ports. Using these will give you better sound...

ok so i do not like the way it sounds its not clear and sounds a lil distorted is it because i used a reg cheap wire if so whats a good wire to use for this thanks
