Is it possible for a virus to change your CPU temperature. I mean that would be pretty crazy. But could it happen?
 
Only indirectly, as in, it could, but only because it would put continuous processing strain on it, making the CPU run at 100% capacity all the time, that would increase temps ,but no, there is no virus that sets out specifically to raise the temperature of a cpu, and it would be fairly impossible for one to just go ahead and change the temp, its not like they come fitted with thermostats or anythign is it...
 
Yeah, there is something svchost.exe, it can contain a virus that constantly utilizes the CPU. I wonder if there is anything that screws with the sensors?
