Is it safe to put a computer in a deep freezer to keep it cool?

Seal your case and submerge it in vegetable oil. Then take a large container and fill that with vegetable oil two, and stick it in the freezer. Then run two tubes between the two containers and add a pump to one of the tubes and whala, chilled oil.

not a bad idea but it would take ALOT of oil to fill it up

Mini Fridge?

What about a mini fridge? With cutouts in the door for DVD drives etc? And cutouts in the back for power cable extensions? You could seal up the holes with some caulk or something.

it would still be wet on the inside

yeah the oil does work but need constants refilling

I still think you would be better off buying a mini fridge and putting tons of radiators, pumps, and fans inside it, cutting small holes in the fridge and feeding the tubes to you computer

^^^then defrosting wouldn't be such a b!tch^^^

Yeah it would work if it was dry.

you could buy a mini fridge and put a water cooling setup in it

could you imagine 20 radiators in mini fridge:D :D :D

water cooling setup + mini fridge + 10 radiators + 3 high performance pumps = super cooling
