Is it worth buying a used Radeon 7870 to do Crossfire?

I'm wondering whether it worth buying a used 7870 to do crossfire with. Ebay has some for around $50 and was thinking it might be a cheap way of increasing my computers power.
CPU: AMD 8320
Graphics: GIGABYTE Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition
Power supply: CORSAIR CX-M series CX600M 600W 80 PLUS BRONZE
memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866

I wouldn't bother. I'd just sell it and grab a cheap used AMD card (280x's are cheap last I saw) or save for something new like a 1050 TI or similar.
