worth it....I seem to have a corrupted thumbdrive. The computer won't read it all, and popup said's "unreadable and corrupted can not Read" And i try to read it in other computers and it still saids the same things:mad: is there a way to fix this?? Or do i just get rid of it and get a new one?? thanks for any infor:cool:

in "my computer", right click on it's icon and select format... you'll lose any info you have stored on it, but it should fix it... or failing that try selecting properties instead of format, and in the 'tools' tab select "check now"

maybe try the 'check now' option before formatting so if it works you have a chance of saving the stuff stored on it

It freeze up the whole thing once i click on it, also it said computer not resonding....It won't let go any futher then this. Any other ideas i can try...thanks for any info

Flash drives are relatively cheap, on newegg you can easily find a 1gb one for under $30 so I would say replace it, unless its like an 8gb one that you spent liek $200 on. Sometimes its just not worth going throught the hassle of trying to repair something that would be easier to replace.

Probably something to do with either the connection, PCB or firmware is screwed up. It's best to just get a new one.
