Is january a good time to buy a laptop?

Ive heard January is supposedly one of the best times of the year to buy a laptop, is this true? Ive been waiting and i haven't seen a good deal yet, will the cheap prices ever come ?

i dont think theres a specific time of year you just have to look around for special offers and bargains have a look on www.ebuyer.com and www.play.com, also tesco regularly have good deals on. what price range are you thinking of ?

Not sure what abouts your from otakubakaa, but in the UK, because of the VAT increase to 17.5%, deals might not be as good as you thought! But still look around to see what's about, internet is probably your best bet for a good deal.

im looking for a 13.3 inch notebook that is under $500 and new with a long battery life of at least 6 hrs, not HP.
