Is memory limiting my overclock?

Im running my 6400+x2 at 3.28 ghz and cpuz says ram is running at 328mhz. I cant seem to get it to boot at any higher clocks, is this as high as i can go without buying new ram? my ram is 667.

Would i be able to change my cpu:ram ratio? so its 2:1 so I can push my cpu further? would that be worth doing and how do i do it? or would i be better of buying 800mhz ram?

There definitely sould be an option in BIOS to reduce the CPU:DRAM ratio; you need to reduce that, or like brentduo said, you need to unlink/ungang/lock the RAM (the term varies), and it's definitely worth doing it since you can get away without spending cash on faster RAM. However, before reducing the speed, you could also try increasing the latencies a little...what are your current latencies?

Um, well so far the highest stable overclock i have acheaved is 1.36ghz at
210 fsb, 1.4 volts. I lowered the ram setting to 533 to get it up so my ram is running at 280.0mhz. is this a good overclock? My cpu temps are about 24-26c at idle. I cant seem to get it up any higher i tried turning my voltage up to 1.5 volts and fsb of 215 and it booted from bios but wont restart properly. it freezes at the motherboard screen. i also tried turning up the voltage to 1.55 and same effect. My ram was still running lower than 300mhz but it wasn't stable. Is this the appropriate time to turn up nb voltage?
