Well basically a year or two ago i made my pc, been sitting since, i used to upgrade it all the time but now it has aged :( and is not as powerfull as some of your systems.

My system is as follows

Case:
Thermalatake Xaser III
Cooling
Domino A.L.C liquid cpu cooler, 3 case fans
Motherboard:
Asus P5n-D
Memory:
4gb of ddr2 Ocz reaper x 4-4-4 pc6200
Cpu
Intel Xeon x3350 45nm 2.66ghz stock, oc'ed to 3.5 ghz
Gpu
two XFX 8800gt 512mb ram each, total 1024mb in SLI

Am I old?

think you should be fine your have quad core and pc6200 ram should hold up pretty well, only thing i can see is the gpu may want to be upgraded to a newer one but since you have two in sli it may not be worth the money

PC-6400, no such standard as 6200.

Its not old, I'm stuck with a p4 3ghz, 200mhz 512mb ddr ram, a 256mb radeon 9550, a 160gb sata 1 hdd and a asus p4s800 (thats old).

Nope, better system than i have, mine is about 1-1/2 years old, yes on here a computerforum, its probably not going to be the best, cause of the who enthusiast thing, but thats is still a hell of a pc, i would stick with it for another 2 years, then i would switch.

Nahh your are fine.. i have a dell xps 420. with a quad core and 4 GB ram, 1Tb Hdd, and it has a 5.9 on the windows experince index. which i know that means a hill of beans but it great to use while u are in a store doing a quick compare... and it is 2 years old. and yes i have reinstalled the os a few times. but who doesn't any more?? if it is running slow. just wipe it out and do a fresh copy of 7. you will be fine. The only thing if you are using 64-bit stuff you might want up grade but for the price i would stick with what you have till some newer stuff comes out.. What i do is wait till i have almost no choice but to buy a new one, then you get the lastest and greatest. Not buying something you really don't need and then 2 weeks later someing great hits the market and you are crap out of luck.. best wishesss.. and if you still want a new one make a server out of it.. it would work great for that or sell it to me.. i'll give ya 200$ for it... :)
